Full-Time / Part-Time Program Explained

Our academy program operates as a full-time, part-time model. This means players receive a high-performance, professional-level training environment while still maintaining the flexibility to continue playing for their existing clubs—whether in representative pathways such as the JDL system or in community football.

This approach allows players to maximise match exposure, experience different competitive environments, and continue progressing within their current teams while benefiting from additional elite development.

Program Philosophy

The Prodigy FC SPL program is built around individual development first. We focus on “topping up” each player with additional, high-quality football to complement their club commitments.

Our methodology emphasises:

• Independent development

• High repetition and technical mastery

• Game intelligence and decision-making

• Confidence in 1v1 situations

By strengthening the individual, players are better equipped to perform and execute at a higher level within their teams.

Term 3 Structure

For Term 3, the program is designed around:

• Mandatory Team Sessions – focused on building squad cohesion, structure, and tactical understanding

• Optional Development Sessions – focused on high-intensity agility, individual technical work, and 1v1 development

The goal is to “bulletproof” the individual—encouraging accountability, resilience, and personal growth.

• Monday 6:00 AM – U12/13 Squad (Coach Mickey)

• Monday 7:00 AM – U10 Squad (Coach Mickey)

• Wednesday 7:00am - U8 Squad (Coach Mickey)

• Thursday 6:30 AM – U11 Squad (Coach Mickey)

• Friday 4:00 PM – U6/U7 Squad (Coach Mickey)

• U9 squad TBA

Optional Development Sessions (Agility, Technical & 1v1)

• Monday 4:00 PM – Open Age (Coach Mickey)

• Wednesday 6:00 AM – Open Age (Coach Mickey)

• Wednesday 5:00 PM – 11YO+ (Coach Mickey)

• Friday 6:00 PM –11YO+ (Coach Fabio)

Investment

• $40 per session + GST

As the program continues to grow, players will have opportunities to:

• Compete in tournaments throughout the year

• Gain exposure to high-level competition

• Participate in international tours and development experiences
